The idea of Chez Lapin began as a hobby, where Claire would make candles and skin care for herself and friends in her parents' kitchen

Chez Lapin opened up to e-commerce by starting a store on Etsy
First Events
Chez Lapin began selling candles and skin care at markets and events in Pittsburgh, primarily for fun
Re-Brand
After a few seasons in markets, Chez Lapin got a much needed re-brand, making our new logo and script name trademarked and protected
Pandemic
After a career in Theatre got paused for the Pandemic, Claire began running Chez Lapin full time and expanded our e-commerce presence
Growing Team
After being run solo and out of home for years, we opened our first manufacturing space and hired team members to accommodate the growth
